Through years of living and learning, I finally discovered the kind of clothing creation that brings me true joy. It led me to the world of visible mending — a world that felt like it was stitching together every chapter of my journey, affirming my identity with quiet strength and grace.
When a beloved piece from my wardrobe begins to fray, worn down by time and affection, I step in with my hands and my heart. Facing each tear, each memory, guided by my own creativity, I mend with intention, one stitch at a time. With care and precious techniques passed down over generations, I give it a second life — one that feels even more special than before. It’s a practice that’s both tender and radical in its essence — a quiet resilience that reminds me of nature’s strength and its wild, organic beauty.

歳を重ねようやく見つけた自分が心から楽しめる服作りに出会いました。そしてその出会いが私をビジブルメンディングの世界へと導いてくれました。今まで自分が辿ってきた通過点をあたかも繋ぎ合わせるように、静かだけれど確かな力と優しさをもって、私が私でいることを肯定してくれる世界でした。
お気に入りのワードローブが愛しすぎたが故に傷つき疲れ果て朽ちていくのを、自分の愛情と手仕事でくい止め、新たなそしてより親密な関係へと導いていく。 一つひとつの傷の記憶と向き合い、自分自身の創造力に導かれて、一針一針、意志を持って繕う。受け継がれてきた大切な技術と、自分自身の手を通して、服に新たな命を吹き込む。この営みは、優しさに満ちていながらも、とてもラディカルで、自然の持つ強さや、有機的な美しさにどこか似ています。
服作りに携わる者として、服を修繕すること、何より服を愛すること、そしてその行為の意味と美しさを伝えていくことが、私の使命だと信じています。伝統や創造性、人とのつながりを育みながら、私はこの手仕事を通じて、’大切にする’という静かな声に耳を澄ませています。
