GRANDFATHER'S HARRIS TWEED PROJECT FOR TAYLOR 2019
Easy Pants |  Big Tote | Scarf | Pauch
Fabric | Wool 100%
Lining | Linen 100%

It was the beginning of July 2019 that Taylor brought me his grand father’s tweed that he has been putting off using to make into something. It is genuine Harris Tweed with the tag and medal that telling it hand woven from Scottish wool with registered mark as well as serial number. As he was not sure what he wanted to make, depends on the amount of fabric, I suggested to make him a pair of pants. From leftovers, big reversible tote bag and scarf were also made from it.

Although it took me whole two months to complete this special project, the result brought smiles and warm feeling for both of us. I learned a lot from this project and I cannot thank enough for Taylor’s courage to let me do this and his patience.
